At an early age, his family moved to the small Arizona Town of Camp Verde. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and helping his father raise quarter horses. He took over his father’s contracting business at the age of 19 - building spec homes and his business. He loved teaching youth groups and raising his children. He volunteered at the local fire department and soon took on that job full time in a nearby
community of Cottonwood, AZ. He also oversaw the operations of the local ambulance service for several years. He became an EMT, IEMT and Paramedic. He filled many positions as Fire Fighter, Engineer, Fire Marshall, Acting Chief and Captain. Jerry completed his Fire Science Degree. He also worked with the local Community College teaching EMT classes. After retiring from the Cottonwood Fire Department, Jerry became Assistant Chief at a nearby fire department and later became Chief. Jerry graduated from the National Fire Academy. Upon completing 40 plus years in the fire service, Jerry retired to the White Mountains with his wife Sharon. He once again enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and added reenacting wild west history. After several years, Jerry and his wife chose to fulfill one of their goals to sell real estate together. They sold for over four years in Arizona and absolutely love helping people find the home of their dreams. In 2022, Jerry and Sharon decided to take one more adventure and moved to Oklahoma. Jerry loves the beauty of the great State of Oklahoma, the history and all the green landscapes. He has expanded his reenacting to include the oil barren years – often volunteering at the Grand House in Ponca City. Jerry has a large family with 5 married children and 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Family reunions are very loud and fun-filled. He loves to visit, laugh and help people. Greetings from the beautiful state of Oklahoma! I am so excited and honored that you are researching my profile for consideration as a real estate professional. I was born in Illinois and grew up the farmer’s daughter. I was literally the tomboy of the family and preferred baling hay and milking cow to taking care of the house and meals. It was a grand childhood filled with magical days and dream filled nights. I proceeded to work at a campground out of high school and that basically shaped my professional growth. The private campground was sold to a national membership campground and soon I was in their training program and off to travel – working in Oregon, Washington and Arizona. My responsibilities eventually increased to also include Nevada and California including 7 properties and being part of companies National training team. It was a great experience and I learned that customer service is the key to success in any business. I had the opportunity to work with so many absolutely magnificent people who shaped my life and family in so many ways. In Arizona, I met and married my husband. Upon retirement from the campgrounds, I went back to college to study medical records and received certification the next year. I worked at the local hospital and became the hospital quality auditor. When my husband retired from the fire service we moved to the mountains and I continued as quality auditor at a local rehab center. After several years, I joined my husband in retirement. We enjoyed life and travel for a few years. We soon decided to achieve one of our dreams to sell real estate together. We got our license and enjoyed a wonderful career selling real estate in Arizona for almost five years. In 2022, we decided to move to Oklahoma and absolutely love it here. We are enjoying the beauty, and all the historical sights Oklahoma has to offer. We are enjoying our new home and are happy to show you around this area. We are happy to help you get the home of your dreams!
