PROTOCOLS FOR REOPENING OUR OFFICE

Consistent with the orders of various courts and with the Governor's plan to reestablish normal business activities, our office will be open for our clients by appointment beginning Monday, May 18, 2020. It is our goal to restore the availability of our offices and conference rooms to our clients utilizing measures which are calculated to enhance safety, health and comfort. We ask our clients to respect the following protocols:

1. Consent to a non-contact temperature check when coming to the office;

2. Be aware of and honest about your condition in regard to an illness or infection, particularly those manifested by coughs, sneezes or temperatures which are 100.4E or greater;

3. Masks are encouraged and any other personal protective equipment with which a client is comfortable, such as gloves, etc.; and

4. Social distancing which is currently being described as at least six (6) foot separation between people and agreeing to limit activities to a specific office or conference room.

It is our hope that these protocols will not interfere with the comfort or the ability to conduct the business of a client. We also welcome suggestions with respect to special needs of
any client.

Respectfully,

OUR RESPONSE TO CORONAVIRUS AND COVID-19 PREVENTIVE MEASURES

The contagion of Coronavirus and Covid-19 has necessitated federal, state and local actions which have severely limited social, personal and commercial interactions and contacts. In response to those actions and protective measures our office building and our office have been secured, limiting admission to certain essential personnel, which has included in part lawyers and staff.

We are now moving to a new phase, which is a measured relaxation of these restrictions and protective measures. Our office building will be available to the public beginning May 4, 2020. The Kay County, Noble County, Pawnee County and Osage County courthouses will open and be available for lawyers and the public May 18, 2020. The U.S. District Courts in Oklahoma will be opening to lawyers and the public in the time period of May 15th to May 31st. The Oklahoma Supreme Court will begin relaxing its restrictions on the district courts and on the appellate courts beginning May 18, 2020.

Based on these staged openings, we have decided to continue serving our clients from the office and remotely, where appropriate, without opening the office until May 18, 2020. When we do open the offices, the protocols of social distancing, consenting to temperature checks, washing hands and hand sanitizer and masks when requested by office staff or by our clients. If there is a significant change in the status of the control of the contagion, we will update our current position.

Thank you for your patience and for your cooperation. The office telephones and other communication media continue to be open and available from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Respectfully,

Guy Clark for the Firm

The contagion of Coronavirus and COVID-19 has necessitated federal, state and local actions to severely limit social, personal and commercial interactions and contacts. In response to these actions and protective measures, our office building has been secured so as to admit only occupants with a need to be in the building. This measure was further necessitated by Governor Stitt's order to restrict non-essential business activity and the number of people who can gather together.

In response to these measures for the public good, our lawyers and staff will continue to work and to communicate, at the same time respecting the necessary isolation and sheltering restrictions to the fullest extent practical. Consequently, lawyers and legal assistants may be operating remotely when circumstances require through referred telephone messages, emails and texts.

The courthouses for Kay County, Noble County, Pawnee County and Osage County are closed, except for admission of certain employees. Filings can be made through the mail and some communications are available by telephone with courthouse personnel such as District Court Clerks. Hearings are being rescheduled and continued, however, some hearings which require immediate attention are being conducted. If you have any cases with attorneys in our firm, you should contact the office and your call will be referred to the appropriate attorney.

We urge all of our citizens, including particularly our clients, to respect the public need for isolation, testing, patience and confidence in the battle against this contagion and illness.

Our greatest defense and offense against this adversity is calm resolve, rational actions and courage.

Respectfully,

GUY CLARK
