Dinner dates tonight Gourmand 🤍 Nolan asked last week if we could try it out. I told him it was a fancier place and there might not be a lot of food that he would like... No worries, he said he just wanted to see what it was all about. I love that we are raising little foodies. 🤎 We had to skip dessert though to get back home to watch the Yankees! 💙

Experience in real estate changes what you’re impressed by.

Early on, it’s easy to think success looks like being super busy or closing deals every single week.

After 15 years, I care a lot more about the things that don’t photograph well.

Knowing when to slow a client down before they make an expensive decision. Catching the detail that changes the entire conversation. Having the right person to call when something unexpected shows up three days before closing.

The longer I do this, the less interested I am in the flashy stats and the more interested I am in being useful.

Because most clients will never remember how packed my calendar was that year.

They’ll remember whether I made a stressful decision feel clearer. Whether I told them the truth when it would’ve been easier not to. Whether I knew what to do when the plan changed.

That’s the version of experience I care about now.

SOLD OFF-MARKET 🏡 And this one was more than 5 years in the making.

This closing reminds me why relationships matter so much in real estate.

More than 5 years ago, referred a buyer to me. We stayed connected over the years, kept an eye out for the right opportunity, and eventually… we found it.

Except this home was never actually on the market.

I was able to bring the buyer and seller together, represent both sides of the transaction, and get it successfully to the closing table. All without a public listing, a Zillow link, or a For Sale sign.

And a HUGE shoutout to A referral made over 5+ years ago turned into a closing today. That says a lot about the relationships we build in this business and why I never take a referral for granted. ❤️

Congratulations to both my buyer and seller! This one was a long time coming, and I’m so happy we were able to make it work for everyone.
