The Banta Law Group is pleased to announce that Attorney Matthew C. Kelley, Pharm.D., J.D., has joined the firm, further expanding the firm’s ability to serve clients.
Attorney Kelley brings a distinctive combination of legal and healthcare expertise. After earning a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wilkes University’s Nesbitt School of Pharmacy and excelling in the field for several years, he returned to school to pursue a legal career, earning his Juris Doctor from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law.
While attending Drexel Law, Attorney Kelley was awarded the prestigious Rising Advocate Scholarship, the school’s highest merit scholarship, and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for outstanding academic achievement in Contract Drafting. He also served as Vice President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team and earned recognition in national American Bar Association competitions, placing fifth overall in the Regional Negotiation Competition and advancing to the finals of the Regional Client Counseling Competition, where he earned second place overall.
Attorney Kelley’s legal experience spans business transactions, real estate matters, healthcare law, regulatory compliance, and employment-related issues. Throughout his legal career, he has advised clients on complex legal matters, conducted extensive legal research, negotiated settlements, and represented clients through all stages of the legal process. His diverse background and practical approach to problem-solving further strengthen the firm’s ability to serve business owners, entrepreneurs, real estate clients, property owners, and individuals across a wide range of legal matters.
