Here are some things to consider if you’re a VA buyer purchasing a new build 🏠:

🎖️Make Sure the Builder Works Well with VA Loans: Even if the home’s already finished, confirm the builder has experience with VA transactions. It helps avoid issues with appraisals, inspections, and paperwork down the line.

🎖️Understand What Actually Adds Value: Many new builds come with upgraded finishes, but appraisers don’t always see them the same way buyers do. Focus on solid construction, a good layout, and location.

🎖️Don’t Skip the Inspection: A new home can still have missed details or builder oversights. It’s worth hiring your own inspector before closing.
