We officially closed on our first family home. 🏡❤️

This house gave us so much more than four walls—it gave us memories we’ll cherish forever. We brought home three babies here, celebrated birthdays, milestones, holidays, and countless ordinary moments that ended up meaning the most. We were incredibly lucky to have the best neighbors who truly became friends, and leaving them is one of the hardest parts.

As bittersweet as it is to say goodbye, we’re so excited for this next chapter and all the memories waiting to be made in our new home that we close on next week. 🔑

Going through this process reminded me of something important. Even as a Realtor, buying and selling your own home is emotional. This time, I got to step out of the Realtor role a little and experience everything my clients feel—the excitement, the stress, the uncertainty, and the joy that comes with finally getting the keys to your next chapter.

It’s a reminder that a home is never just a transaction. It’s where life happens.

The last week and a half has been incredibly busy for both our family and my real estate business!

First, after a closing delayed by more than 90 days, we finally closed on Michael Fausett home. Thank you for your patience, trust, and perseverance throughout this journey. It was certainly a trying process, and I’m so grateful we made it to the closing table. One important takeaway: always take the time to carefully choose the team that will represent and support you—your lender and agent truly matter. 🤝

Next, congratulations to Ashlee Haley and her kiddos on their first home purchase! She spent more than a year preparing for this moment, setting goals, and the last few months we’ve toured countless homes. In the end, we secured a wonderful property after just one day on the market! 🏡

And finally, Brandon and I accepted an offer on our home! After some time on the market and many showings, we’re officially under contract and set to close on July 23. We also had an offer accepted on a beautiful property—and the best part is that it comes with a pool! Pool parties, here we come! 🏊‍♂️

We are incredibly excited and grateful for the opportunities ahead for our family. None of this would be possible without the amazing clients who trust me to be part of their real estate journey. Here’s to new beginnings for all of us and an exciting rest of the summer ahead!

When a client calls at 5:10pm to see a house at 6:15pm on a Sunday— you make it work. Then at about 6:25pm you fall off the last step of the basement stairs and fracture your ankle. You finish the showing sitting on the basement steps, crawl up the stairs and wait for your husband to get there and help you hop out, lock up and go to Lutheran hospital ending up in a walking boot. It wouldn’t have been my first time writing an offer while in the hospital. 🏡 ➡️ 🏥
