When the legal process isn’t enough, sometimes you have to turn up the volume.

Last night, WSVN aired a segment regarding some of the construction fraud cases I’m currently handling on behalf of Florida homeowners.

In these cases, our clients were left with unfinished homes—but the financing company had already paid the contractor. We’ve demanded cancellation of the loans and the other side will not take accountability.

The buyer seeking a refund due to contract contingencies not being met.

The seller claiming entitlement to the deposit due to buyer default.

A title company stuck in the middle, unable to release the funds without mutual consent.

In these situations, the title company will usually refuse to release the deposit unless both parties agree—or one party wins in court. And that’s where people get stuck.
