PROGRAMA DE ALFABETIZACIÓN DIGITAL DE LA BIBLIOTECA PÚBLICA DE PLAINFIELD
¿Qué es el Programa de Alfabetización Digital?
Este curso es impartido por un instructor en vivo y cubre el uso básico de la tecnología informática en tres niveles progresivos de conocimiento y habilidad. Los estudiantes aprenderán el funcionamiento básico de los componentes de hardware de una computadora, el sistema operativo Windows, la administración de archivos, los conceptos básicos de Internet y el uso del correo electrónico. Además, dominarán las funciones esenciales de Microsoft Word, PowerPoint y Excel.
La biblioteca está reclutando estudiantes para las clases del otoño de 2026, las cuales están programadas para realizarse de octubre a diciembre.
-Programa por noche en español: lunes-jueves, de 6:00pm a 8:30pm

What is the Digital Literacy Program?
The class is presented with a live instructor covering the basic usage of computer technology, at three increasing levels of understanding and skill. Students will learn about the basic operation of a computer's hardware components and Windows operating systems, file management, internet basics, and email. They will also master standard office functions in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
The library is currently recruiting students for their Fall 2026 classes, which are expected to run from October through December.
-English Day Program, Monday-Thursday, 9:30am - 2:30pm
-English Evening Program, Monday-Thursday 6:00pm - 8:30pm
