DOGE closed 5 social security offices in GA a couple weeks ago. Now, they’re telling Georgia seniors they can't use the phone to claim benefits either.

Let's call this what it is: An intentional attempt to stop folks from claiming benefits they've EARNED. I will fight this.

CALL TO ACTION: Call your Senators and Congress People ASPAP!

The Social Security Administration is offering payouts to employees who voluntarily resign from the federal agency, ahead of what they warn will be "significant workforce reductions."

Ok folks: Call to Action: we need to call our congress and senate representatives. Social Security cannot function effectively without our workers. Management has been advised to prepare for layoffs! This is not about politics or your party. It’s also being reported on the AP and I encourage you to call and express your concerns to your representatives! It is their jobs to represent you regardless of party!

Lots of calls of concern! I know that there is a lot of misinformation out there and folks are having a hard time getting thru on the telephone lines to the Social Security Adminstration. I am encouraging folks to call their Senator or Congress member for help if you cannot get thru on the phones. (202) 224-3121 is the main switchboard for the Senators and (202)225-3121 is for the Congress. They should be able to direct your call to the proper people to attempt to answer your concerns. If you have an active case with me and have any questions, you can reach me at (412)885-3880. I am recommending that folks get representation early with any claim for Social Security Disability or Supplemental Security Income (SSI).

I have received a lot of calls with regard to DOGE accessing Social Security Disability/SSI recipients information. I do not know the whys or reasons so I am directing all those calls to: The Senate’s main switchboard at (202) 224-3121. Operators are available to direct your call to any senator’s office. House of Representatives switchboard (202) 225-3121.

Hello Everyone! I am hearing that the Social Security Adminstration has sent out a bunch of notices this week that may be confusing! Please call me with any questions as the Social Security Administration’s phone lines are flooded with calls. Let’s all hope and pray the New Year brings better wording on Notices and a reduction in the number of pages sent. I think they could say what they need to say on one page if they said it simply! Happy New Year!!!
