In her role as President Elect of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Principal, Kerri Lee Ca****la of Gentile, Horoho & Avalli P.C., was tasked with planning the annual Academy Retreat held on May 12 and 13, 2023 at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort. 🎉

Kerri oversaw the meticulous details of the event including assembling a top-notch slate of speakers & curating menus for the attendees’ dining pleasure. 📋

Despite all the planning, the one thing Kerri 𝓭𝓲𝓭𝓷'𝓽 foresee was testing positive for C0vid two days before the event. 😭 Kerri wishes to thank all the Fellows, Sponsors, Speakers, and Guests who attended and especially to current AAML-PA President, Amy DeShong of Montgomery County, PA for graciously taking the unexpected lead.

Congratulations to GHA Attorney Carla Schiff Donnelly, who was appointed Co-Chair of the Commission on Women in the Profession of the Pennsylvania Bar Association !

The Commission was established in 1993 to involve more women in PBA leadership roles and to explore issues affecting women in the law. Since that time, the Commission has grown from 60 members to well over 700, making it the largest committee within the PBA today.

Ms. Donnelly's appointment began Friday May 5th at the Commission’s Annual Conference held during the Pennsylvania Bar Association Annual Meeting in Philadelphia.
