Your bike is a vehicle. That means the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code applies to cyclists too.
One rule many riders don’t know: you are required to signal your turns and stops.
Hand signals help drivers understand what you’re about to do, reduce confusion, and make everyone on the road more predictable.
If we want motorists to respect cyclists as legitimate road users, we need to follow the rules of the road ourselves.
Know the signals. Use the signals. Stay predictable.
🚴 Left Turn
🚴 Right Turn
🚴 Stop
🚴 Slow Down
