Litigated child support contempt hearing before Family Court Judge to enforce client's (Mother's) support order for one child. Father's sentence of 6 months confinement in the Allegheny County Jail was suspended by the Judge after 3 months of time served provided that Father continues to work at his work release job and pay his support order on time and in full for the next 3 months when a compliance review will be held.

Litigated sentencing hearing in Criminal Court for client's admission into the PA State Department of Corrections' drug offender treatment program as part of client's negotiated guilty plea to 3 felony counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. This intermediate punishment program calls for 2 years of confinement instead of the mandatory minimum of 11 years of incarceration the client faced with consecutive sentences for all 3 felonies.

Litigated hearing before Family Court Judge for client's (Wife's) opposition to Husband's request for the entry of a Divorce Decree based upon Husband's claim that the marriage is irretrievably broken.

Argued appeal before the Pennsylvania Superior Court regarding the Family Court order which dismissed the client's claims of error with the divorce master's report and recommendation for division of the parties' marital property and debt.

Successfully negotiated a withdrawal of the petition filed by the Pennsylvania Gaming Controal Board (PGCB) seeking to ban the client from all casinos in Pennsylvania by placing the client on the PGCB's exclusion list.

Obtained order in Family Court granting the client's (Father's) motion for reimbursement of his international airfare costs for his custody time with his 2 children during the children's Easter school holiday and Summer school vacation. The total reimbursement for these 2 custody exchanges amounted to more than $4,000.

Filed client's (Husband's) exceptions to the report and recommendation of the divorce master. To resolve Wife's economic claims of equitable division of marital property, alimony, and legal fees, the divorce master has recommended that the client pay Wife $21,640 from his retirement account for division of marital property, pay Wife $600 per month for 3 years for alimony, and pay Wife's attorney $2,500 for reimbursement of Wife's legal fees.

In Criminal Court, Attorney Boback successfully negotiated a plea agreement for the client with the District Attorney's Office and the arresting Officer from the Pittsburgh Police Dept. The client was arrested after a traffic stop and charged with possession of ma*****na with intent to deliver (felony), simple possession of ma*****na (misdemeanor), and possession of drug paraphernalia (misdemeanor). The DA's Office accepted the client's offer of Probation Without Verdict. In exchange for the client temporarily pleading guilty to the misdemeanor charge of simple possession of ma*****na, the client will have to serve 6 months probation. If the client successfully completes the probationary term, then all 3 of the criminal charges will be expunged from the client's criminal record.

Attorney Boback litigated a Divorce Master Hearing in which the client (Husband) was defending against Wife's economic claims for 5 years of alimony, 60% of the client's pension account, and reimbursement of $7500 for Wife's legal fees and expenses.
