Hi, All!
The poll question several days ago asked what 3 qualities you consider to be the most important when selecting a realtor to work with. These might be personal qualities of the individual, qualities related to professional skills, or a combination of the two. I asked what 3 things you would look for that are non-negotiable.

And the results are:
1) Honesty and transparency - pretty much a toss-up between the two but people said they considered these going together hand in hand... keeping them informed, disclosing everything, discussing everything and anything important, etc.
2) Knowledge of the process, whether buying or selling - someone who could make suggestions, warn of possible issues, etc.
3) Someone who is both pleasant to deal with and makes them (the client) feel cared about and like their best interest matters. People wanted to feel like they are "in good hands".

These were the top 3 responses, and they all sound like reasonable expectations to me. You should expect... and receive... nothing less from your agent! Thank you if you participated with a private response to this poll question.

Hi, Everyone!

The last poll question was "What is personally your favorite room or part of the home where you currently live?" The overwhelming majority from answers I received was "my outdoor space" including decks, patios and screened-in porches. One person mentioned an outdoor fire pit area. As for me personally, my covered porches where I have lots of potted flowers is by far my favorite space two thirds of the year! Hi, All! I recently asked what 5 factors would mainly influence you to buy a specific home. Of the PM answers I received, here are the results:

1) LOCATION (As we say jokingly in Real Estate, the 3 most important factors are Location, Location, Location! Evidently the public agrees.)
2) PRICE (obviously you must be able to afford it)
3) FEATURES (if the home has all or most of what you're looking for/need, or can be adapted)
4) CONDITION (if a home makes it past the first 3 above, this becomes the most important item to consider)
5) CONVENIENCE (this position was mixed among the answers received, but many considered convenient access to things like stores, main traffic routes, schools, medical facilities or walkability to neighborhood shops and restaurants to be the next most important consideration)
