Mail Plus Pismo Beach

My name is Tracy Chitwood and I would like to introduce myself as the new owner of Mail Plus at 791 Price Street in Pismo Beach. Pismo has been home for about 5 years. My grandparents retired in Pismo Beach in 1980. The past few years, I wanted to be closer to them before their passing in 2014 and 2016. In the 70’s I used to spend my weekends with my grandparents in a small park near the Oceano ramp. So, Pismo Beach has really been home for a lot longer. I love the small-town community and have great memories of playing on the beach and building sandcastles with my grandpa.

I officially took over the Mail Plus on October 1st and I am still learning the business of meeting our shipping, notary and mail box needs. Thus, the reason we have been closed on Saturday’s. (I am blessed to have Hailey Jones, Office Manager, managing the day-to-day operations while I maintain a consulting business in San Luis Obispo during the day.

Hailey’s wealth of knowledge is phenomenal and a great asset to the business. She has nearly three years of expertise in managing the store. Another smiling face you will see in the store is Kayde Barker who works part-time in the afternoon assisting Hailey with shipping and retail sales. Kayde also works next door at Central Roast. Both young ladies have the highest regard for customer service and integrity.

Last month, I passed the Notary Public exam and received my commission. To add to our services, I have been certified with the National Notary Association to become a Notary Signing Authority that allows me to perform loan doc signing. I can provide this service at Mail Plus or come to you.

Some other changes you might see in the store are a new logo, an updated notary office, some updated office equipment and some flowers near the entrance of the store.
