Hello Investors.

The next meeting of the Central Coast REIA will be on July 25th, 2024. Our meeting will be held at the Pismo Coast Association of Realtors located at 1126 E. Grand Ave in Arroyo Grande. Meeting time will begin at 7:00pm.

INSURANCE

This month, we are excited to have Jamie Flores from Farmers Insurance speak to us about insurance.
Whether your an Investor or home owner, insurance has become a hot topic. With wildfires in California wreaking havoc, it has caused a major disruption in how insurance companies are doing business. Fires are just one issue. As flippers or investors, costs of rehabs are also affected. Did you know that Water Leak Detectors are starting to become a requirement on homes 30 years and older? If a home does not have one, this can affect the purchase and resale or delay an escrow.
Jamie Flores will discuss these issues with us and everything we need to know about homes and insurance.

Have deals you'd like to share or have trouble with? Let discuss them. We teach how to Wholesale, do Subject-To, Rehabbing and rentals. This is a great forum to share these deals and perhaps buy and sell those deals.

History

The Central Coast REIA was established in 2010 at the tail end of the Great Recession. For 10 years we met once a month at the Spyglass Restaurant in Shell Beach. Our goal was to teach people how to invest in real estate. Many of us came from teaching organizations such as "Rich Dad Poor Dad", "Armando Montelongo" "Dean Graziosi" "Fortune Builders" and others. Over the years, I have witnessed several investors build amazing investing portfolios and enjoy the success that comes with Real Estate Investing. With the ups and downs of the economy, Real Estate has always been a proven vehicle to build wealth for our families. In 2020, we were forced to put a halt to our in person meetings due to the pandemic. Now in 2024 with the help of Jeremy Ruben at Premier Real Estate Group, we have relaunch our meetings. Our goal is to continue helping everyone succeed in Real Estate Investing.
