Howard Law Firm, PLC, is pleased to announce the addition of Attorney Mitch Whitaker to its Whitesburg office location. Mitch, a native of Fleming Neon, where he currently resides with his wife and newborn son, is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture and College of Law.
During his time in law school, Mitch held several leadership positions with the Student Bar Association, Student Government Association, and the Appalachian Law Caucus. He is a member of the State and Federal Bar of Kentucky. Mitch currently serves as the State Representative of Kentucky's 94th District, which includes all of Letcher County and parts of Harlan and Pike Counties.
Mitch brings his wealth of legal experience in the areas of personal injury and workers’ compensation, to the Howard Law Firm’s general practice that already offers representation in the areas of divorce & child custody, criminal law and estate planning services provided by the Firm at its office locations in Bell, Harlan and Letcher County, Kentucky and Claiborne County, Tennessee.
Mitch, who is strongly invested in serving both his clients and the community at-large, is pleased to join a strong team of attorneys who also have a dedication to both helping legal clients and community involvement. Howard Law Firm, PLC, engages in many community outreach efforts, including offering high school, college and graduate school internship opportunities, assisting Veterans in estate planning free of charge, and donating to various area schools, churches and other organizations.
