If our real estate team were animals… apparently we’ve thought about this a little too much.

And the more we looked at everyone’s personalities, the more accurate it got. 😂

You probably know Cindy for real estate.

But there’s another side of her story that has been unfolding in Powdersville for more than a decade.

For 10+ years, as part of the nonprofit Connect Powdersville, Cindy has spent countless hours advocating, fundraising, meeting with local and state leaders, and working alongside people who share one goal: making Powdersville an even better place to live.

That passion helped grow Connect Powdersville and Rhythm on the River Music Fastival, bringing thousands of people together each year right here at Dolly Cooper Park.

And this past Friday, another piece of that vision became reality.

The newest improvements at Dolly Cooper Park are officially open, featuring:

✅ 8 lighted pickleball courts
✅ New spectator seating
✅ A four-stall restroom facility
✅ Improved parking lot lighting
✅ ADA-accessible sidewalks and pedestrian connections
✅ Infrastructure upgrades to support future growth

Projects like this don’t happen without people willing to champion them. Senator Richard Cash, District 6 Councilman Jimmy Davis, Anderson County Administrator Rusty Burns, and many others have played an important role in making these improvements, and so much of what’s still to come at the park, possible.

But Powdersville isn’t finished yet.

Even more improvements are planned for Dolly Cooper Park, including some BIG additions that were announced at the ribbon cutting. We’ll be sharing more about those soon.

For Cindy, this has never just been about a park. Powdersville is home.

And she’s not done yet!
