Lorraine was a wonderful person and friend, and we were fortunate enough to call her our paralegal for 20 years.
At her best, she set the bar, at her worst, she was a 9. ; ) To say she was dedicated and loyal is an understatement; she was strong, fierce, compassionate, and she always had our backs.
She was always by our side - forfeiting the quilts she was making as Christmas gifts, the warm baths where she relaxed at the end of a long day, and even grocery shopping - to make sure we and our clients had everything needed at all times.
And while she hated tequila, she celebrated the wins grimacing through group tequila shots. We’ll remember the hugs, although few and far between, because a Lorraine hug meant you were family.
She was taken far too soon, but we know she’s dancing with her dogs and cats now. While we’ll all miss that hearty Lorraine laugh, and that bright red hair her granddaughter carries on, we’ll remember her with every celebratory tequila shot.
Godspeed.
