There are no in-person FAMILY court hearings at this time. All hearings are being done by video conference or by phone. The only exception is emergency hearings and orders of protection which are still by video, but just from a room at the courthouse.

Face masks are REQUIRED. There are no listed exceptions.

Hearings for other types of cases that are in-person are limited to (30) minutes.

Ortecho Law will maintain telephonic consultations until May 15, 2020 in line with Governor Ducey’s “Stay at Home Order” extensión.

We will begin in-person meetings when they are necessary starting May 18, 2020.

Ortecho Law is committed to your safety and as such, attorney Christina Ortecho will wear a mask at all times during your meeting or court appearance. In exchange, Ortecho Law will require all clients who attend in-person meetings or attend court hearings wear a mask or face covering. If you arrive and do not have a mask, one will be provided to you.

Ortecho Law will practice social distancing. In order to reduce possible exoposure for staff and clients, you are asked to limit the number of persons attending the meetings and/ or hearings (not including witnesses) to the client and one other person. No minor children should be brought to either in-person meetings or court hearings.

If you do not have childcare Ortecho Law will arrange for a telephonic conference.

Ortecho Law will be sanitizing the office every evening and will have gloves and sanitizer if needed during the meeting.

Please make sure your mask is respectful with no offensive language or symbols should you wear the same to the courthouse. It is recommended that a solid white, blue, or black face mask be worn for court appearances.

Ortecho Law also prefers that all documents you desire for the office to review be provided through an e-mail communication at [email protected] so as to avoid the need for unecessary exposure.

Currently, the office is open from 10am-2pm for document drop-off only.

Ortecho law is offering all first time consultations by phone or video chat. The courts are closed for all hearings not related to an emergency or order of protection but they are still taking new cases. Call to discuss your matter and how we can help get your case going during the shutdown.

Office evolution, the office building for Ortecho Law, has reduced its hours to 10:00am to 2:00 pm Monday through Friday because of COVID-19. The office will be locked and closed at all other times. If you need to drop something off to the office please do so between those hours. If the items are not for urgent drop-off please mail them instead. Your safety is our priority, please stay home unless it is essential for you to be out.
