Waiting to start oral argument yesterday at the court of appeals. In the category of strange bedfellows, the other male attorney was representing the police while I was representing a criminal defendant, and we were on the same side fighting against the alleged victims.

Victory!! Successfully overturned a rape/kidnapping conviction (for a combat veteran I believe is actually innocent) despite a guilty plea and it being a second post-conviction relief proceeding! Client to be released from a lengthy prison sentence, and will not have to suffer through lifetime probation or s*x offender registration!
