We are super excited to anounce that Alicia Anguiano will be serving as Justice at Work's new Deputy Director!

Alicia Anguiano joined JaW as an Immigration Staff Attorney in September 2020. In January 2021, Alicia became JaW’s Lead Immigration Attorney, supervising JaW’s Department of Justice Accredited Representatives. Alicia was previously a staff attorney at JaW (then Friends of Farmworkers) from 2016 to 2017. Alicia has served as an Adjunct Professor in the Clinic for Asylum, Refugee, and Emigrant Services (CARES) at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. Alicia also worked at a Philadelphia-based immigration firm, representing immigrants before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Executive Office for Immigration Review in humanitarian applications for immigration relief. Alicia is a graduate of the University of Southern California and Temple University Beasley School of Law, and a member of the Pennsylvania Bar. Alicia was born and raised in California and is the daughter of immigrant farmworkers from Michoacan, Mexico.
