This event, which takes place on Thursday, April 16, 2026, includes a day of expert learning, innovation, and cross-disciplinary partnership at the organization’s new Child Advocacy Center & Regional Training Facility.

We are highlighting Mission Kids during Sexual Assault Awareness Month because their goal is to help children and their families heal from child abuse, sometimes including s*x abuse. April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. While April 25th marks the official 25th anniversary of the National Sexual Violence Resource Center’s (NSVRC) announcement of the month, we believe that s*xual assault awareness should always be at the forefront of our trauma-aware practice.

NSVRC explains that Sexual Assault Awareness Month is “about both awareness and prevention of s*xual assault, harassment, and abuse. Today, the New Jersey Supreme Court ruled in favor of four Baldante & Rubenstein, P.C. clients and held in an historic decision that public entities in New Jersey may be held vicariously liable for acts of child s*xual abuse committed by their employees and agents.

Attorneys John Baldante and Gabriel Magee are proud and honored to have fought this battle for over six years on behalf of our clients. This decision will have a massive, positive impact upon the ability of survivors of s*xual abuse in New Jersey to hold these institutions accountable.

The United States Supreme Court unanimously rejected New Jersey Transit Corporation’s claims of immunity from lawsuits in other states, ruling on Wednesday that the independent entity is not an arm of the New Jersey government. Click below to learn more.

It has been our honor to represent Andrew Napoli and we could not be more proud of him for his courage to discuss his role as a member of the Tort Claimants Committee and the horrific abuse that was inflicted upon him by Father Peter Osinski at Saint James High School in Carneys Point.
