I discuss what to do if marriage equality is overturned, the essential role of estate planning, the need for confirmatory adoptions and the life-saving power of name and gender marker changes.
I want to stress the most important item that I discuss and that's self-care. Please take care of your mental health. We are a resilient community but these are, and will be, hard times. We must band together and be supportive of those around us as well as be willing to accept support.

I've been writing LGBTQ+ columns for various publications for 17 years and only a fraction have made it onto my website sooooo, given that we're in LGBTQ+ History Month, I'm going to share older articles I've written over the years as we publish them to the site in our Vault Series!

It'll be interesting (or at least, I think so, lol!) to read the "Year in Review" from 2017 or about the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell and the rapidly changing laws leading up to marriage equality in 2014.

All to say, if you see OLD content from 2012, that's why!
