Launching Late May 2026! The Powered & Prepared Initiative from the Henry L. Hillman Foundation.
Southwestern Pennsylvania is increasingly impacted by severe weather events that cause widespread community power outages and disruptions. Later this spring, the Powered & Prepared Initiative will seek proposals from nonprofit and municipal organizations for backup power solutions that allow those organizations to offer essential services during emergencies without disruption.
