Celebrating second chances at the annual Lifeline Banquet at SCI Coal Township, hosted by the Lifeline Inmate Organization, was a remarkable event. We had stakeholders from different branches of government, including legislators and executive branches, supporting this mission of second chances. It was inspiring to hear from incredible speakers. Together, we’re championing the transformative journeys of those seeking redemption. An eye-opening experience for all who attended!

COURT SUPPORT NEEDED
After approximately 50 years of incarceration, John Griffin finally has a chance at being released! On July 23, 2024, at 9:00 in room 1001 at CJC (1301 Filbert Street, Philadelphia PA), Judge Scott DiClaudio will have a hearing to determine if Mr. Griffin is awarded PCRA relief. New information that was not available to Mr. Griffin’s defense all those years ago shows that more likely than not, he is completely innocent of the crimes for which he was convicted.
If you are able, we would love to have you attend this historic hearing! Please dm us with your intention to attend, as well as for any questions you may have.

This former detective, whose actions have caused significant harm to numerous Philadelphians, has had a profoundly negative impact. His misconduct led to the wrongful incarceration of innocent individuals, resulting in devastating consequences for their families. Furthermore, victims were denied justice as the true perpetrators remained free. If you or someone you know had former detective James Pitts involved in their case, please urge them to reach out to organizations such as the Philadelphia Conviction Integrity Unit, The Pennsylvania Innocence Project, or The Liberation Foundation. These organizations may be able to assist in reviewing convictions and potentially help in seeking justice for you or your loved ones.

On , TLF celebrated with the Philadelphia Eagles at their Cleats for a Cause event as an honored recipient of their 2023 Social Justice Grant!

Along with the other grant recipients, our founder, Terrance Lewis, designed custom TLF sneakers to be auctioned off at the NFL! All proceeds will be donated to the invited organizations.

Thank you to everyone on the Philadelphia Eagles team for this recogonition, and thank you to all of our staffers, interns, volunteers, and supporters! Our work in would not be possible without all of you 💛
