Looking back on a great evening at the PACDC Gala & Awards Ceremony last month.

Maya and Molly had the opportunity to connect with community leaders, nonprofit organizations, developers, and advocates who are helping shape Philadelphia's neighborhoods for the better. The night celebrated outstanding achievements in community development, recognized industry leaders making a lasting impact, and brought together people who are passionate about creating opportunities across the city.

We're grateful to have been part of such an inspiring event and proud to support the work being done to strengthen communities throughout Philadelphia.

An inspiring evening where wellness meets impact.

North10 Philadelphia’s 3rd Annual Spring Gala brought together neighbors, supporters, and community leaders for a night centered on connection, purpose, and meaningful change in North Philadelphia.

This year’s theme, “Wellness Begins With Us,” reflected North10’s commitment to building a healthier, stronger community across Hunting Park and East Tioga.

Through initiatives like the 10th Street Community Market, Community Strategy Team, Illegal Dumping Campaign, and North10 Health Center @ Carman Gardens, North10 continues creating lasting solutions around food access, resident leadership, cleaner blocks, and expanded health resources.

For Stone Sherick, it was an honor to be part of an evening celebrating shared purpose, community wellness, and lasting impact.

Another month down and great progress at the 17th Street Community Corridor!

Since our last update, the project has continued to move forward with steady progress on site as each phase brings this affordable housing development closer to life.

This project will bring 40 new rental homes to low-income individuals and families in North Philadelphia, while also connecting residents to Pathways to Housing PA’s supportive services.

It’s exciting to see the vision continue to take shape, and Stone Sherick is proud to be part of a project focused on stability, dignity, and long-term impact for the community.

More updates coming soon!

A meaningful step forward for accessible housing in Chester.

Stone Sherick was proud to be part of the ribbon cutting ceremony for Eileen & Shawn’s Place at 1100–1130 Morton Avenue, a project centered on dignity, accessibility, and long-term community impact.

This milestone marks more than the completion of a building. It represents six newly constructed, fully accessible residential units designed for individuals transitioning out of nursing homes, paired with 2,700 sq. ft. of on-site support services through a Center for Independent Living.

Designed to serve individuals at or below 50% AMI, this development directly addresses the critical shortage of affordable, accessible housing in Chester and across Delaware County.

Moments like this reflect what real development is about. Expanding access, restoring independence, and building communities that support everyone.

Stone Sherick looks forward to seeing the impact of this project for years to come.

A major step forward for affordable housing in Kensington.

Stone Sherick was proud to be part of the ribbon cutting ceremony for Ruth Street Civic House, a project rooted in revitalization, accessibility, and long-term community stability.

This milestone represents more than a new building. It marks the completion of a 45,000 sq. ft., energy-efficient development delivering 44 service-enriched apartments for low-income residents, including ADA-accessible units and housing designed to support individuals transitioning from housing instability.

As the second phase of the Orinoka Mills redevelopment, this project continues the transformation of a once-blighted site into a community anchor, preserving affordability in a neighborhood facing rapid change and growing demand.

Moments like this reflect what real development is about. Protecting communities, creating opportunity, and building with purpose.

Stone Sherick looks forward to seeing the continued impact of this investment in Kensington.

A powerful step forward for healthcare in Philadelphia.

Stone Sherick was proud to be part of the North10 Carman Gardens Groundbreaking Ceremony at 3226 Germantown Avenue, a project rooted in purpose, partnership, and long-term impact.

This wasn’t just a ceremonial wall breaking. It marks the transformation of a longtime roller skating rink, acquired by North10 in 2017, into a 20,000+ sq. ft. community health and wellness center. Through collaboration with local neighbors and a nonprofit healthcare provider, this space is being reimagined to serve Hunting Park–East Tioga and surrounding communities with primary care, dental, behavioral health, pediatric, pharmacy, and family health services.

With a $2M RACP award announced, the momentum behind this project continues to grow.

Moments like this reflect what real development is about. Investing in communities, creating access, and building something that lasts.

Stone Sherick is looking forward to seeing this vision come to life.

On February 11th, community leaders, partners, and residents gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of the 40th Street Apartments in Mantua. This development delivers 40 affordable housing units across eight buildings located on the 600 and 800 blocks of North 40th Street, featuring a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments.

The project was created to support the growing housing needs of the City of Philadelphia and provide quality, accessible homes for local families. Stone Sherick led the effort to secure the funding necessary to bring the project to life, ensuring the vision could become a reality. In addition, Stone Sherick provided construction management throughout the process, overseeing coordination, timelines, and ex*****on from start to finish.

Thanks to the collaboration and support of many dedicated partners and community members, this vision has become a reality. The 40th Street Apartments represent an important step forward in strengthening the Mantua community.
