A meaningful step forward for accessible housing in Chester.
Stone Sherick was proud to be part of the ribbon cutting ceremony for Eileen & Shawn’s Place at 1100–1130 Morton Avenue, a project centered on dignity, accessibility, and long-term community impact.
This milestone marks more than the completion of a building. It represents six newly constructed, fully accessible residential units designed for individuals transitioning out of nursing homes, paired with 2,700 sq. ft. of on-site support services through a Center for Independent Living.
Designed to serve individuals at or below 50% AMI, this development directly addresses the critical shortage of affordable, accessible housing in Chester and across Delaware County.
Moments like this reflect what real development is about. Expanding access, restoring independence, and building communities that support everyone.
Stone Sherick looks forward to seeing the impact of this project for years to come.
