Moment of Transparency:
Yesterday my daughter sent me a few pictures of when I was in high school and boy did that take me back!

As I drove to work this morning, I said to myself, "Wow, that was 42 years ago!" I thought in 42 years from today I will be 101. I instantly had a w-h-o-l-e reality check... so many things raced through my mind. I thought about what tasks I haven't completed, what treasures I have yet to unearth and all of the things I've procrastinated on. Quite honestly, for about 2.5 seconds, I began to have a pity-party. THENNNN, I snapped out of it!

It came to me that I am a child of the Most-High God and nothing, I mean nothing, is beyond reach with Him. Those things I want and need to achieve are STILL attainable!

Maybe that is something you ponder too. If so, don't focus on the distance you've travelled from here-to-there, focus on the journey ahead and allow God to redeem the time [Eph 5:16-18] . This means God will help you recoup, recover, regain, and retrieve lost time and opportunities! I simply had to remember "Whose" I am, protect my time moving forward and be intentional about all that I do.
