🐾We had a PAWsome time at the Coldsprings Healing Paws Dapper Gala on Saturday! This event helped raise money for so that they can continue to train & place therapy, facility and service dogs where they are needed most.

Little Victories: Day 8

I survived another day with my pr***en daughter. Woof.

It’s been one of those days where the battles seem endless—today’s was the cell phone debate. Why, oh why, does she think she needs one? Spoiler: She doesn’t. 😅 But here we are, surviving the eye-rolls, the dramatic sighs, and the “every other kid has one” speeches. Parenting wins don’t always come in big moments—sometimes it’s just about making it through the day with your sanity intact!

Little Victories: Day 7

Sometimes, a book just doesn’t grab you right away—but then, at the right time, it pulls you in completely. I originally started The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and put it down, unsure if it was for me. But after a few people told me to give it another shot, I decided to pick it back up… and now I’m hooked!

A little victory for today: rediscovering a great read and getting lost in a story I almost missed.

Little Victories – Day 3: Tackling the Bathrooms!

If you know Dan and me, you know that he’s the cleaner in our house. But when it comes to deep-cleaning the bathrooms—that’s my territory. And let’s just say… this task has been lingering on my to-do list for way too long.

Today, I finally tackled it! Scrubbed, wiped, and sanitized every inch, and now the bathrooms are sparkling. It’s one of those chores I don’t love doing, but it always feels amazing when it’s done.

Little victory? ✅ Absolutely.

Today’s little victory: I actually woke up and worked out!

Some days, just getting out of bed and moving your body feels like a win—because it is a win. It’s not about running the fastest or lifting the heaviest; it’s about showing up for yourself, even when it’s hard.

Every small step adds up, and today, I’m choosing to celebrate the effort, not just the outcome.
