On Friday, Karyn and Mike said “I do” at the beautiful GreySolon in Duluth, Minnesota!

After knowing of each other for more than twenty years, a friendship grew into something neither could have imagined all those years ago. And what a beautiful reminder that love doesn't have to follow anyone else's timeline.

Their ceremony was filled with faith, heartfelt promises, meaningful family moments, a few laughs, and so much love.

Karyn and Mike, thank you for trusting me with the honor of officiating your wedding. May your years together be filled with laughter, new adventures, and countless reasons to be grateful you found one another.

What a beautiful Sunday afternoon at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum! 🍂❤️

Under the graceful branches of a weeping willow, Cindee and Adam celebrated 13 years of love, laughter, and building a life together by officially becoming husband and wife!

Surrounded by their children and family, their ceremony was filled with meaningful moments, including a special unity tree ceremony with their children, symbolizing the roots of their family and the life they continue to grow together. 🌳

Cindee and Adam, thank you for trusting me to share your story and stand beside you on such a beautiful day. Wishing you both many more years of walks, talks, laughter, and adventures together!

A first for Blessings by Bartlett today! ❤️

I'm so excited to be at the beautiful Greysolon Ballroom in Duluth for the very first time!

Even more exciting is the reason I'm here: celebrating Karyn and Mike as they begin their next chapter together! 🥰

A beautiful venue, a wonderful couple, and a love story I have the honor of sharing. What a special Friday this is going to be!

And can we talk about this venue? 😍 The timeless elegance, romantic atmosphere, and breathtaking beauty of Greysolon make it an absolutely unforgettable setting to say “I do.” I'm already in love with this place, and I couldn't imagine a more stunning backdrop for today's celebration! ✨💍

This one was for the books!! 🤍

It rained through photos and right before the ceremony, but Brianna had her heart set on getting married outside. We waited a few minutes, the rain stopped, and their entire ceremony was dry.

Then Brianna nearly gave Dylan, the best man, and me a heart attack when she announced the rings weren't in the box. They were. She was laughing. 😂

During our final prayer, I asked God to help them “shine Your light brightly to others.” At that exact moment, the sun came out and we could actually feel its warmth. Of course I had to add, “just like it is shining right now.” ☀️

And after I pronounced them husband and wife, I looked over... and Brianna had already kissed him!
“I couldn't wait!” 😂 So, they got to kiss again - why not!?!

A little rain, a lot of laughter, perfectly timed sunshine, and so much joy. It couldn't have been more Brianna and Dylan. 🤍

This week, I need to step away for a few days.

At the end of August, I lost someone who has been part of my life for 47 years. Coach Joe was my first gymnastics coach, my mentor, my friend, and my “other dad.”

A little over three years ago, Coach asked me to write and share his eulogy. It is an incredible honor and a responsibility I have carried with me ever since. Now the time has come to fulfill that promise to him.

As we prepare to celebrate Coach’s life and say goodbye, I know I need to give myself the space to be fully present for these next few days, and some time afterward to simply recover.

Blessings by Bartlett will be quiet during this time. I will not be responding to messages, emails, or service requests while I am away. I don’t have an exact date that I will return, but I will begin responding once I am ready to step back into work.

Thank you for your patience and for giving me a little grace and space while I honor a man who has meant so much to me. 🤍

Yesterday, we stood on Hole Four at The Refuge, the very hole where Erik asked Michelle to marry him, and shared their love story with plenty of laughter along the way.

Their guests arrived by golf cart, those carts became the aisle, and Hole Four became the perfect place for these two to say “I do.”

And because they both independently shared that a mutual love of Dr Pepper was part of their early attraction, we obviously had to crack open a couple of cans and raise a toast to their marriage! 😂🥤

But what I loved most was the joy. Michelle and Erik genuinely enjoy each other, and you can see it in those smiles. Their friendship, their laughter, and the happiness they have found in simply doing life together made this ceremony so much fun to be part of.

What an honor to help them return to the place where she first said yes... so they could say “I do.”

And she got her outdoor wedding. 🤍

The weather gave us a little bit of everything yesterday: mist, sprinkles, and even a little rain. But none of it could take away from the love and joy between these two.

Ilea and Jake’s story started years ago with a bold Snapchat message and a first date where Jake somehow already knew she was the woman he was going to marry. For Ilea, that certainty came in a quieter moment when she realized, “This is my person.”

They learned that so much of love is found in the little things. The laughter. The support. The kiss when you get home. Showing up for each other after a hard day. ❤️

Yesterday wasn’t the beginning of their life together. It was their promise to keep choosing each other through everything still ahead, with love, faith, and commitment.

And it was pure joy to witness!

Yesterday started at the beautiful Lyndale Park Rose Garden in Minneapolis with these two!

Their ceremony was intimate, faith-centered, and filled with so much love. And even with a little Minnesota weather threatening to join us, we got them married! ❤️

Jerry + Ariel, thank you for trusting me with such an important moment in your lives. It was truly an honor to stand beside you as you became husband and wife.

Congratulations, you two! Now go enjoy being MARRIED! 🥰
