One thing that stands out to me right now is how consistent the market has been this year.
It's easy to get caught up in week-to-week changes, but I tend to pay more attention to the bigger picture.
So far in 2026, we're averaging 97 new listings, 89 pending sales, and 77 closed sales per week across Peoria, Woodford, and Tazewell counties. Homes are also selling faster overall than they were last year.
This week's numbers fit that trend pretty well:
• 144 new listings
• 99 pending sales
• 115 homes sold
• 9 average days on market
What we're seeing right now is a market that remains active, but feels much more balanced than it did a few years ago.
Buyers have options.
Sellers still have opportunities.
And homes that are priced well and presented well continue to attract attention quickly.
That's why we've been saying the same thing for a while now: today's market isn't really about timing. It's about strategy.
If you've been wondering what this market means for your situation specifically, we're always happy to talk it through. No pressure—just a conversation.
