Please meet Audrianna Schott. She is our new office manager. Audrianna is a graduate of Illinois State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and holds an Associate’s degree in Business from Joliet Junior College. She brings a strong background in insurance and legal support and is recognized for her attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to client service. Audrianna also supports her partner in leading kickboxing and MMA fitness classes. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her partner and children and staying connected to the outdoors and nature.

Please meet our new bilingual secretary, Adalia. Adalia is a 2025 graduate of Bradley University. She majored in political science and journalism at BU. Adalia minored in Spanish and marketing. She even studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain. Adalia is fluent in Spanish and English. She also studies dialects of Spanish throughout the world.

I am grateful to have been selected to the 2026 Illinois Super Lawyers list. This is my fifth straight year of being selected. Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor. I would like to thank my family for their support, my staff led by Bobbie Sweet, colleagues, and Patrick Halliday, my HM law partner. And also, I would like to thank you all for the referrals, advocacy, and confidence.

PSA: Please don’t shoot your guns in the air to celebrate tonight. If caught in Illinois, the consequences are criminal. “A person commits reckless discharge of a firearm by discharging a firearm in a reckless manner which endangers the bodily safety of an individual. ... (c) Reckless discharge of a firearm is a Class 4 felony.” If you’re a convicted felon, you would be facing mandatory prison. Bullets can climb up to 2 miles in the air and fall 300 ft. per second and crush a skull. Celebrate in a way where you and others can be safe please. 🎊💯🎉 Happy New Year!!!
