Do you know that if you are under 21 years of age you are allowed under Illinois law to consume alcohol if under the direct supervision and approval of a parent or guardian in the privacy of a home? So.... be nice to your parent -- he or she may share with you!

Hey Johnny, get in here... there is something I need to tell you. Do you know that if you are under 18, in school, accused of committing a crime, you do not have to answer any questions from law enforcement, school resource officers, or other school security personnel? They must contact us parents to ensure that we are present during the questioning. Thanks goes to Wargren parents who made things happen after their son committed su***de after being "scared to death" during questioning without his parents' presence.

Hey Johnny, get in here...there is something I want to tell you. Did you know that driving with a dog will not prevent the police from searching your car if they want? This urban myth is just that- a myth. Best defense? Don't carry anything on you or in your car that you wouldn't want discovered. Don't count on a dog to prevent a search. But do count on your dog for other reasons.😉🐶🐕‍🦺

Hey Johnny, get in here...I have something to tell you. Did you know that if you are caught shoplifting, there is a big chance you will get a free ride downtown, and you could hear some steel doors clink behind you?🚨 It's not like the old days- the authorities now arrest you and could possibly place you in a holding cell for a few hours. So don't shoplift this holiday season. Take note- Walmart has more cameras than God has children.🎦

Hey Johnny, get in here...there's something I need to tell you.➡️ Do you know you can get a DUI charge if you are intoxicated/impaired while just sitting in your car with the keys in the car, or on you? 🔑 You may think you are doing the responsible thing, but you are not. Back seat, front seat, it doesn't matter. Don't wait for an Uber while sitting in the car intoxicated. Get away from the car. 🚗 This is definitely something to think about during the holiday season!🎄
