Jacob is currently pursuing his J.D. at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he serves as President of the Florida International Law Society and Treasurer of the Mental Wellness Society. He previously gained experience as a Legal Intern with the State Attorney’s Office for the 8th Judicial Circuit and brings a strong background in leadership and business strategy. We are excited to have Jacob with us this summer and look forward to all he will accomplish at ESC!

This Memorial Day, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, selflessness, and dedication to protecting the freedoms we enjoy today will never be forgotten. We are deeply grateful to those who served and to the families who carry their legacy forward.

We’re excited to welcome Karey Henry-Duncan to Emmanuel Sheppard & Condon as one of our Summer Law Clerks!

Karey is currently pursuing his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he is actively involved in the Journal of Law & Public Policy, Tax Moot Court Team, and Black Law Student Association. He also brings experience from the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the University of Florida’s Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic.

We are excited to have Karey with us this summer and look forward to all he will accomplish at ESC!

Celebrating Greenhut Construction Company’s 80th Anniversary!

This past Friday, our Construction attorneys stopped by to congratulate the team on this incredible milestone and to celebrate with sweet treats “constructed” by J’s Bakery (which incidentally, has also been in business 80 years this year!). For decades, both Greenhut and Emmanuel Sheppard & Condon have proudly served the Pensacola community, and we are grateful for the longstanding relationship and partnership between our two firms.
