We have had a great last couple of days with the Law Office of Daniel C***o. Yesterday, we had an Assault Family Violence case dismissed in Harris County. Today, in the morning, we received a $15k Immigration Bond from a tough detention immigration judge in Conroe, Texas & we saved a client on Deferred Adjudication Probation Violations to keep her record clean, then in the afternoon and number of traffic cases dismissed in Pasadena. We are so happy for the Clients and their families and wish them the very best.

Yesterday we had a HABEAS WIN IN TEXAS! Our Client entered the Country without inspection (no visa) in the late 90s. She never committed a crime and was detained on a traffic stop. Has two Citizenship Children, one honorably serving in the U.S. Army. Her husband has TPS protection and she had TPS protection for the last 20 plus years until the current administration took it away for Hondurans. The Judge of District Court agreed that her immediate release is necessary for her to allow the application through USCIS (military through her son) to process and her freedom and liberty granted to her and has ordered DHS to release with 48 hours. Great work from the whole staff at the office, major cooperation from her family in assisting with proper paperwork and relief. We look forward to continuing this process outside of detention.

This last week and the start of this week has been AMAZING!! Two criminal misdemeanor dismissals, saved a Client's Drivers License in an ALR Hearing and an agreement on record for a VERY long and complicated divorce with multiple businesses and assets. My opposing counsel in the divorce was incredible to work with and the judge was very clear, creative and helpful. Congrats to all of our clients and their loved ones we wish them the very best!

Today, we were able to amend a notice to appear to reflect that our Client entered with a Visa, with the hopes of attaining an Immigration Bond here in Texas. Great ameanable DHS Attorney, and a very nice Judge, of course with the support of the family, providing the correct documentation that we asked for. The government’s attorney agreed and the judge set a deadline for DHS to amend it correctly. Next battle, the bond hearing and trying a very slim exception on a very low possession of ma*****na.

What a day at USCIS. An interview for an individual asking for Resident Status since 2022 or so. Finally had their interview with USCIS in Houston. The interview started at 8:00 am and ended at 12:45pm, almost 5 hours. The USCIS Officer was nice, and VERY detailed. Very heavy vetting, per his own words. The good thing is both the Wife and Husband walked out of the interview with the officer saying that it appears approvable but still needs to take a further look into this deep vetting.
