These words may be clichés, but they truly are the attributes that make Sam who he is and make him good at what he does. He learned these value
s from his parents and from his years of traveling to the "four corners of the globe," while working at some rather strange and odd occupations. As is typical with many young Kiwis, Sam left New Zealand in his early 20's to travel the world, expand his horizons and experience other cultures. He spent several years traveling to different countries from South America to Asia, Europe, and of course, North America. Traveling to so many varied locations taught him valuable lessons in how to interact with different cultures, adapt to different situations and how to effectively communicate with people from all walks of life. These experiences have allowed Sam to develop both his professional and social skills in a way that has benefited his ability to serve his clients to the highest level. Sam has over 18 years of experience in sales and management in the construction industry. His first "real" job at age 19 was as a sales representative for a roofing and window company. He later managed a renovation firm, and most recently, sold extremely technical, custom engineered, steel homes all around the U.S. Throw in the aforementioned prawn farming, smoked salmon packing and Menorcan villa renovation, and he really has a broad skill set to draw from and apply to his real estate business. With all this experience, his global travels and easy going manner, Sam knows that he has now found his "happy place" in the real estate industry and wants to help you to find your "happy place" when buying or selling your next home.
