We have weathered another year and 2022 is now in the history books. I am thankful for another year for the lessons learned and my staff and I are ready for the events that await us. We had a lot more trials in 2022 and the court dockets in all six counties in the 14th Judicial Circuit have been more active than ever. We are looking forward to continuing to provide legal services to our clients. We also will be networking with other professionals and colleagues to provide a full range of assistance to our clients. I wish everyone a safe and healthy weekend and a Happy New Year. My office staff have been given a few days off for the holidays and I have been in the office on an as needed basis for my clients. We will be back in the office on January 3, 2022, at 8:00 AM CST for business as usual on a full time basis, each Monday thru Friday. We are continuing to offer clients consultations by phone, by Zoom, by Skype, and in person office consultations are available. We encourage clients during in person office meetings to wear masks and exercise social distancing. All office staff have been vaccinated and thankfully none of us have been ill. We hope to continue good health in the coming year and provide good legal assistance to our clients. Happy New Year to all and may the good news be yours!

WARNING!!! CAUTION! There is an email on the internet requesting people to take a survey with a few questions and offering you gifts for taking the survey. The gifts range from household appliances to Craftsman Toolboxes. If you READ THE TERMS OF CONDITIONS, as some lawyers are inclined to do, you will discover by accepting their conditions you are going to be charged on your credit card a monthly fee for participating in their gift program. If you call the phone number (1-877-327-2708) listed in the fine print of the Terms and Conditions, you will be put on hold and eventually a voice recording with an American English accent will ask if you want them to call you back. You will also be offered an email address ([email protected]) to have a call back or response from their "representative." If they call you back you will be speaking to a voice with a foreign accent allegedly located in Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida. They will not give you the actual address. I wish everyone a safe and prosperous New Year and encourage you all to always remember, Buyer Beware! and Read the Fine Print.

The Governor of Florida announced today that Publix will be providing vaccines for persons 65 and older in Bay County, Florida tomorrow, January 13, 2021. Thank you Governor DeSantis.
