When cruising on Royal and trying to decide between an interior room vs an ocean view and don’t care about a balcony because of the price and you won’t use it much, especially when travelling solo, I would think again and do the interior with the virtual balcony.

It is really cool and a huge savings!

I don’t use the balcony enough to justify the price when traveling solo. You pay a solo supplement which a lot of the time is more than the cost if two are in the stateroom.

Now my favorite on Royal on the larger ships are the interior rooms with the balcony overlooking Central Park. I love those. That Is what I have on Harmony next month!

What is a Milestone Report:

A Florida milestone report is a document that results from a milestone inspection, which is a structural evaluation of a building performed by a licensed architect or engineer. The report includes the following information:

A description of the inspection's methodology

A list of any substantial structural deterioration and recommendations for repairs
A determination of whether the building has any unsafe or dangerous conditions
Recommendations for preventative or remedial repairs
A list of any items that need further inspection
A summary of the findings
The signature and seal of the licensed engineer or architect who performed the inspection

Milestone inspections are required for buildings that are 30 years old or older, based on the date the building's certificate of occupancy was issued. After that, inspections are required every 10 years.

The purpose of a milestone inspection is to ensure the safety of the building's residents by assessing the structural condition of the building. The inspection does not determine whether the building complies with the Florida Building Code.

Both the condominium association and any owners of building portions not subject to condominium or cooperative ownership are responsible for arranging milestone inspection reports.

On the second stop of the excursion today was to a Pineapple Farm- The Clairmont Pineapple Farm. They also harvest a lot of mango, too!
The owner of the Farm is Mr. Grant from Canada. He came to work in 1980 and never left. He eventually purchased the business and land with a land lease.
Facts that I learned are:
It takes 18 months for a pineapple to grow.
Pineapples are sweeter at the bottom than the top
100% of harvests are now being sold to the street vendors.
Neither mangos nor pineapples are sprayed.
Last of the pineapple farms that are not
Government controlled
Lost a lot of agricultural land
Pineapples does nothing breathe during the day. Does not require as much water like DelMonte and Doyle
Very passion about agriculture
Leasehold land even the house he built.
Govt tried to take his property and the business about 20 yrs ago for a golf course. Him and the people in his village protested and were tear gased and he was arrested and they took away his passport.
