We’re pleased to share that two members of our team, Heather Rafter and Jessica Fajfar, spoke at the 8th Annual Artificial Intelligence and Robotics National Institute with a panel “Music to My Ears? The Not-So-Silent Threat of AI” along with Owen Seitel and Jay LeBoeuf!

As AI technology advances, voice cloning, deepfakes, and digital impersonation are creating new challenges for artists, creators, businesses, and consumers. From unauthorized use of a person’s voice and likeness to sophisticated scams targeting organizations, these developments raise important questions about intellectual property, privacy, and the evolving legal landscape!

We enjoyed contributing to this timely conversation about protecting creative rights, personal identity, and businesses in an increasingly AI-driven world.

If you’ve been part of the Digi/Avid family, past or present, we’d love for you to join us for a fun night of cocktails, music, and great memories. This is more than just a reunion—it’s a chance to reconnect, relive the magic, and raise a glass to one of the most rewarding projects we’ve ever worked on.

🎥 AI and Media Creation 2025: Insights from Philipp Lengeling at the Silicon Valley Video Summit 🎥

RafterMarsh Law’s Philipp Lengeling joined industry experts at the Silicon Valley Video Summit, sponsored by our client Advanced Systems Group - ASG, to discuss the rapidly evolving landscape of AI in media production. As a panelist on “Status Report: AI and Media Creation 2025”, Philipp shared legal insights and his personal views on the challenges and opportunities AI presents for content creators, technology companies, the broader media industry–– and the legal profession!

Moderated by Pinar Demirdag, the panel featured perspectives from AI expert Gabe Michael (Edelman AI), author and AI advocate Noelle R., and director/producer Mark Yoder (Accenture). Philipp, with his deep expertise in digital media, intellectual property, and AI governance, brought key legal, regulatory, and ethical considerations to the discussion, addressing AI compliance, licensing, data protection.

With AI reshaping media workflows, content creation, and legal frameworks, this conversation was an essential checkpoint on where we stand and what’s ahead in 2025.
