In family law, there are always going to be good days and bad days, and sometimes we have an opposing counsel who is aggressive for no reason, but then there are the most amazing of days when we get to work with an attorney who is kind, compassionate, and intelligent. That doesn't mean we always agree, and we both represent our clients' respective interests, but it makes the process smoother when there is an abundance of professionalism on the other side. Working with Sema was one of those amazing days (although, if we're being honest, it was A LOT of days). 😉 We finally settled a difficult case, while working long into the evenings, and at the end of the day, the clients are happy, and both attorneys respect each other. There's no better way to practice. Thank you, Sema, for your kind words! Receiving your review was extremely touching, and greatly appreciated. 🥰

Another wonderful outcome today!!! A Father was granted relocation and majority timesharing with his kids!!! Aaaahhhhh!!! What fantastic news for this family!! I really love getting good news for my clients, especially right before the holidays!!

I was hired 8 days ago to try to make the impossible happen:

Someone needed to be divorced before the end of the year due to immigration issues, and with holidays occurring in December, I was blunt with the client about the possibilities of making it happen. Between drafting, getting documents from the opposing party, signatures from everyone, language barriers and translators, calling the Clerk's Office, begging, pleading (no pun intended), getting filed items actually docketed, getting the LAST hearing time of the entire year hours before the hearing was to be held thanks to an AMAZINGLY supportive and kind Judicial Assistant and Judge...let's just say I wasn't sure this was going to happen. 🤩

BUT...the hearing [A HOLIDAY MIRACLE] came true! I am beyond elated for my client and am feeling so incredibly grateful to Court personnel and my Paralegal, without whom any single step of this process could have failed. Thank you to everyone who helped! ❤🏛❤

Please remember, especially this time of year (but also always), if you can go above and beyond to make magic happen for someone, do it. You could be changing someone's life. ❤🙂😍

We received a Final Judgment from a trial that concluded a couple of weeks ago and we have a very happy client! These moments make all the long days worth it all! ❤️🎉🎈 Congratulations to an amazing client! 🥳⚖️

WOW! What a crazy last several days at Willis Law! 🤩 We got an oral ruling from trial last week, and we were able to get an amazing outcome for a client and his child!! 🥰 It was an absolute pleasure working with him, and we couldn't be happier for this family!! ❤️❤️

While waiting on that ruling, we settled a very difficult case that will bring peace of mind to all parties. 🤝🏽

Thank you to opposing counsel on both cases!! We may be on opposite sides, but having camaraderie, and being able to know that the other attorney will act ethically and kindly, makes a world of difference to me and the clients. 🤩
