Today, R.E.A.C.H. was proud to participate in the Tampa CRA Housing Fair while also hosting a successful HUD-Approved Homebuyer Workshop at the Village of Allapattah YMCA Family Center in Miami-Dade County.

From community outreach and housing resources in Tampa to homebuyer education and counseling in Miami-Dade, our team spent the day helping families take meaningful steps toward achieving their homeownership goals. The CRA Bus Tour, showcasing the investments and developments helping transform neighborhoods and create new opportunities for residents.

Every event is an opportunity to educate, inspire, and connect people with resources that can change the future of their families for generations to come.

Today, R.E.A.C.H. was honored to participate in KGCCO's Annual Employee Health and Wellness Fair, connecting with individuals and families who are working toward a healthier, stronger, and more financially secure future.

Wellness is more than physical health—it includes financial stability, housing security, and having a plan for the future. Throughout the event, we had the opportunity to share resources, answer questions, and help attendees explore pathways to homeownership, financial wellness, and long-term stability.

In honor of Memorial Day, our offices will be closed on Monday, 5/25/2026, as we remember and thank the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

At R.E.A.C.H., we remain committed to helping families build stability, opportunity, and the dream of homeownership in the communities they served and protected.

While many were relaxing this Memorial Day weekend, these future homeowners made the decision to invest in their future.

Today they showed up with purpose, determination, and goals bigger than their current situation. They spent the day learning about credit, budgeting, savings, down payment assistance, and the steps necessary to become successful homeowners.

Homeownership does not happen by accident, it starts with preparation, discipline, and the decision to take action.

Today they also earned their Homebuyer Education Certificate, bringing them one step closer to achieving the dream of homeownership.

Congratulations to all of today’s attendees for taking an important step toward building stability, wealth, and a future for their families. Thank you for spending the day with R.E.A.C.H. and allowing us to be part of your journey.

Let the celebration begin.
From the classroom to the closing table, congratulations to Kathiana and her beautiful family on becoming homeowners.
Kathiana attended our Homebuyer Workshop on 7/19/2025 and committed herself to the process. She stayed focused on improving her credit, managing her budget, building savings, and following her action plan step by step. Today, all of that hard work paid off as she officially closed on her new home just in time for Memorial Day weekend.
With the help of $50,000 in down payment assistance and an additional $8,000 seller credit, Rene and her family are now preparing to move into a place they can finally call their own, with an estimated mortgage payment of approximately $1,800 including HOA.

Kathiana’s testimony:
“There were moments I wanted to give up, but R.E.A.C.H. kept encouraging me to stay focused and trust the process. Today my family and I have a home of our own, and it feels like a dream come true. We are especially looking forward to enjoying the pool this weekend with our family and friends and creating new memories together.”
