Ballinger on Issues

Ballinger on Issues Information on issues I find interesting and important to our community, state, and country. Why believe in Bob?

Bob invests in his fellow man through a foundation of work ethic and integrity. He is known for being able to make the best of a situation, and has a gift for putting others at ease, even under the most stressful conditions. Praised by employees and fellow community leaders alike, Bob is seen as a true friend and would be described as genuinely caring for those in need. Bob attended NorthEastern S

tate University in Tahlequah,Oklahoma. There he served as President of Phi Alpha Theta (historical honor society), was a member of the Redmen Football team, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with his BA in Social Studies. Feeling led to serve in the Public Schools Bob taught and coached in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He was known as a great teacher, a hard coach, and a thoughtful mentor to his students. Bob enjoyed his experience in public schools, and looks back on this experience with fond memories. Proud to be in Arkansas, Bob obtained his Juris Doctorate in 2004 from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville. Achievements during this time would include being a member of the University of Arkansas Law Review, being a recipient of the Charles Thomas Pearson Fellowship for promoting Professional Ethics in the Legal profession; serving as Executive V.P. of the Federalist Society; and receiving the Legal Research & Writing II Top Oral Argument. After graduation from law school he passed the Arkansas Bar and became a licensed Attorney in Arkansas. Bob gives back to his community and shares his expertise in law with those in need through donating his time. He is also part of a variety of title and real estate associations where he has become a regular presenter at group events. Bob has connected with his community thru various groups such as Kiwanis and the Berryville Chamber of Commerce, where he served as President in 2011. He enjoys community outreach and being able to work with others to help strengthen the local economy. With his family at his side, Bob serves as the leader in his church’s addiction ministry. He has encouraged countless men and women thru this ministry to obtain freedom from strongholds. Bob has a love for teaching and a gift for reaching others in this way. His wife Jessica is a home maker and stays very busy with their five children: Bobby, Lydia, Asa, Shiloh, and Titus. Bob’s children love living in the country and have learned great life-lessons from the experience of a small farm. In everything Bob does he has Passion: from his participation with his family to serving his church’s ministry, to his daily desire to help those thru his profession. Those who know Bob best would tell you he is someone you can count on to be genuine and faithful. Bob will stand firm in his beliefs and can be counted on to defend convictions in areas where others may waiver. Bob Ballinger is known for his Faith, and believes without faith we have nothing firm to stand on.

Bobby is the only true Republican in this race.

Early voting starts tomorrow. May God’s people be faithful stewards of the grace He has given us in this nation, the authority to direct our government. Let us exercise that authority wisely and vote in a manner consistent with our high calling as His children.

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice....” Proverbs 29:2

Pray. Vote. Stand faithfully.

Bobby is committed to making our district and Arkansas the best place to live, work, and raise our children. He understands that achieving that vision requires strong partnerships with fellow conservatives, and he has already proven his ability to build those coalitions and get results.

The Arkansas Constitution protects life. It does not create a right to destroy it. Attempting to twist our Constitution into a tool for ending innocent human life turns its text and purpose on their head. This lawsuit is spurious, legally unsound, and directly contradicted by Amendment 68 and decades of Arkansas law. I am confident the Arkansas Supreme Court will reject this effort and reaffirm that our Constitution stands on the side of life.
