The Daleville City Schools specially called meeting has been cancelled, however there is still a hearing this afternoon in Houston County regarding this restraining order. Thank you to this community for showing Mr. Sanders so much support. Right is right, and wrong is wrong.

CANCELED: Daleville City Schools Board of Education Cancels Special-Called Board Meeting; Audio Obtained Regarding Superintendent's Allegations of Threats

DALEVILLE--The Daleville City Schools Board of Education announced on Monday afternoon that they have canceled the special-called meeting hours after it was originally announced earlier in the day. The meeting, which was scheduled for Tuesday, April 28 will not take place.

The agenda that the Dale County Chronicle obtained regarding the Special-Called Board meeting included only two items: a planned executive session and an address by legal counsel.

While officials have not confirmed, sources indicate the meeting may have been planned to address the controversy surrounding Daleville Superintendent Joshua Robertson and his claims that a parent made death threats against him and his family.

The Dale County Chronicle, however, obtained audio recordings of the phone call in which the parent can clearly be heard saying "I'm gonna sue you...As of right now, I'll just sue every last one of you."
