Prior to that he attended the University of MS in Oxford, MS where he received his juris doctor in December 1991 and the University of Southern MS in Hattiesburg, MS where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in December 1988. twell was part of a team that prosecuted mass tort and class action lawsuits against Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Company for civil rights and discrimination charges on behalf of African Americans, and this case was settled on a national level. Boutwell lead a trial team that received a $217 million verdict against Rockwell International for pollution of the Mud River in Kentucky. Boutwell has served as Prosecutor for Holmes County MS, and elected County Prosecutor in 1999, and again in 2003. He currently serves as City Prosecutor of the towns of Goodman MS and Vaiden MS, as well as serving as the City Attorney for the town of Goodman, MS. Boutwell started his firm in Lexington MS in 1997, and has been lead counsel on numerous cases, including several mass tort cases and class action cases. Boutwell was recently Class Counsel on the Black Farmer's Litigation case, filed in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, in Washington D.C. Currently, his law office is focused on dangerous drug claims, defective airbag claims, consumer claims against credit card companies and mortgage companies, and asbestos claims, both in mass tort and class actions. Charles Edwards began practicing law in the spring of 2000. Prior to that, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Masters of Business Administration from Millsaps Collage in Jackson, MS. Edwards is a member of the MS State Bar, United States District Court for the Northern District of MS, Southern District of MS, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. he is also a member of the MS Bar Association for Justice and the American Trial Lawyers Association.
