Cal Mayo recently participated in the American College of Trial Lawyers - ACTL Spring Meeting, joining fellow members and leadership in Board of Regents discussions and induction events. He is pictured with his wife, Caroline, in the second picture.

Drew Mauldin recently had the opportunity to take part in the Natchez Trace Council, BSA’s Chicksa District Merit Badge College at the The University of Mississippi - Ole Miss. Alongside the many merit badges offered to Scouts that day, Drew taught the Law Merit Badge.

Mayo Mallette includes three Eagle Scout attorneys — Pope Mallette, John Mayo, and Drew Mauldin — and values the role Scouting continues to play in developing leadership in our community.

Mayo Mallette is pleased to announce that John D. Mayo has been selected as the Mississippi member of Owners' Counsel of America (OCA). He is the only attorney in the state who serves in this invitation-only national organization.

Owners’ Counsel of America is a network of attorneys who represent property owners in eminent domain and condemnation matters. Members collaborate on legal developments affecting property rights and share experience from cases across the country.

At Mayo Mallette in Oxford, John represents landowners in matters involving government takings, pipeline easements, highway expansion, and disputes over just compensation across the state.
