-These criminals want you thinking with your emotions and not your brain!

-Just remember the 4 red flags of all scams and you'll know right away, to just delete!

1. They contact you out of the blue (text, email, call, etc)
2. They claim something urgent
3. They want you to do something (text back, click a link, call a number, download an app, etc)
4. They want money (credit card, gift card, bitcoin, cash, gold, money wire)

It’s officially that time of year! Tulsa CASA is thrilled to announce our 3rd Annual March-Mallow Madness Squishmallows Drive!
Why Squishmallows? Because for a child in foster care, "soft" can be life-changing.
A few years ago, a brave child had to do the unthinkable: testify in court against their abuser. They were asked to recount their deepest trauma, pain, and fear. Before testifying in the courtroom, they chose a Squishmallow to hold.
That child squeezed that Squishmallow through every word of their testimony. We found out later they didn't let go of it for the rest of the night. In a moment of absolute chaos, that simple item provided the comfort they needed to stay brave.
Our kids need us.
In all the ways, on all the days.

The Rogers County Sheriff's Office has been made aware of a new scam in Rogers County.

Persons reported that they received a call from Humana, the caller tried to schedule a home visit with the citizen here in Rogers County. The citizen declined, and the caller was very insistent.

After hanging up, the citizen contacted Humana and was told this was not accurate and was most likely a scam or an attempt to gain access to the home.

Please be cautious and report any suspicious activity to our office.
