2.5 years ago, Laura Wonder - EXP Realty made a decision that changed our team in a big way.
She was already an incredible agent at eXp Realty. She had built a strong business. She had momentum. She didn’t come to The Spradling Group because she was struggling. She came because she wanted more leads, more support, and more opportunity around a business that was already working.
What none of us expected was that within six months, she would step into a newly created role that would become absolutely essential to our team as the Director of Agent Success. It was truly the perfect fit for everyone.
And while that’s her title, it barely captures what she actually does.
Laura is the steady voice in Slack answering the daily flood of questions from our agents. She’s the one onboarding new agents when they join our team. She’s leading trainings, guiding implementation, and becoming the very first touchpoint when someone decides to partner with us. She walks agents through contracts, systems, expectations, and growth - especially in those early days when everything can feel overwhelming as a new agent on the team.
We created this role because we believe agents deserve real support from day one. Not extra fees for coaching. Not a percentage grab on their first few deals or their first year. Not a “good luck, figure it out” approach. We built a structure where our agents have a real person guiding them and Laura has embodied that vision better than we ever could have imagined.
And here’s what makes it even more impressive.
While serving as our Director of Agent Success, Laura continues to run her own real estate business at a high level. She is still a productive, producing agent. She is still generating leads on her own. She is still serving clients. She is still closing deals.
On top of that, she has built a personal brand locally as a real estate social media influencer, growing a TikTok following of over 25,000 people.
None of that happens by accident.
It happens because of systems.
It happens because of process.
It happens because she practices what we preach.
It happens because of putting in the work consistently.
She has built a life where she balances leading agents, serving her own clients, building a brand online, and protecting time for her family - all through intentional structure and discipline.
And what doesn’t show up in her job description might be even more impressive.
Around the office we joke that she’s the Assistant to the Assistant. She has helped refine systems with our transaction team, worked through complex contract situations, collaborated with leadership on challenging client scenarios, and played a major role in building processes that make our entire team stronger.
She is humble.
She is hungry.
She is smart.
She does whatever it takes for this team.
What we admire most, though, is the growth she’s had personally. Since stepping into leadership, Laura has learned how to set real boundaries. She works incredibly hard, but she also protects time with her family. It may not always be perfectly balanced, but it’s intentional and in harmony with what matters most to her.
And right now, she is fully logged off. On a well-deserved vacation, somewhere warm and sandy. Making memories with her family.
Which is exactly what we want for every member on this team.
Laura, we’re bragging about you behind your back this week because we know you're unplugged. We are beyond grateful for you. We truly don’t know what we would do without you, and we are so proud to have you as part of The Spradling Group.
Enjoy every second with your family. We’ll hold down the fort until you get back next week.
PS - While this is a funny generated AI image of Laura and all her loves, we also need to note that she's also a jiu jitsu badass in her free time so don't make her mad. 😀
