Our employee spotlight this month is Avery Leigh! Avery is our receptionist and office helper at The Cantlin Law Firm! Avery works part time at the law firm through the co-op program at OHS. She has hopes of going to school to become a lawyer, so she wanted to get her feet wet by working at the law firm. Avery’s favorite part of the job is learning the ropes of the office and learning about the everyday tasks that lawyers do. What the Law Firm’s mission means to Avery is that the best possible service is given to each client that walks through our doors. She looks forward to learning about the day-to-day life of a lawyer.
Outside of the office Avery relaxes by watching her favorite tv show The Summer I Turned Pretty while snacking on popcorn and M&Ms. She is also involved in sports and loves shopping and working out. Her dream vacation would be to go to Greece!
If you see Avery flying around the office, you can tell she is a hard worker and soaking in all the new things she is learning every day. Thank you, Avery, for determination and hard work! We can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Our employee spotlight this month is Melissa Tipple! Melissa is the legal secretary here at the Cantlin Law Firm! Her interest in the legal profession started when she switched from an HR position to an open position at the law firm. Melissa has been at Cantlin’s for five years and has been continually growing in her position. Her favorite part of the job is being able to help clients through important transitions in their lives. Whether it’s working with a client through the excitement of a real estate transaction or helping families navigate estate planning or through estate administration when they have lost a loved one, she enjoys being a supportive presence. One thing that Melissa is proud of is stepping into a new industry and establishing herself well in her legal secretary position.
When Melissa is not running around the office, she enjoys multiple outdoor activities. She goes hiking with her family, along with walking her dogs and going for e-bike rides. Her favorite snack chocolate which is the best movie snack to have while she watches her favorite movies which are Shawshank Redemption and Steel Magnolias. Her dream vacation is to go on an African Safari some day! Maybe a nice retirement trip😊
Melissa has been a great asset to The Cantlin Law Firm and if you have worked with her then you already know that! She has grown into her role with grace and hard work, and we cannot wait to see what else she can accomplish! Thank you, Melissa, for all you do.
