Could Orlando Housing Rebound in 2027?
As someone who’s spent years guiding buyers and sellers through the Orlando real estate market, I’m always watching for signs of a shift. Right now, we’re seeing increased housing supply—meaning more choices for buyers and a lot less of the intense bidding wars that once defined our market. Zillow’s recent data, noting a significant annual decline in Orlando home values, reinforces just how much affordability and available inventory are shaping people’s decisions.
It’s interesting to see how the rental and ownership sides of the market are diverging. With new apartments coming online, rents are being influenced differently than home purchase demand, which continues to feel the squeeze of high mortgage costs.
Looking ahead to 2027, whether we see a real rebound will likely depend on how quickly the current inventory is absorbed, any relief on mortgage rates, and, as always, Orlando’s steady population growth keeping demand strong. Having spent over two decades in real estate and title work, I know firsthand how market cycles like this can open up opportunities. Staying informed and prepared is key to making the most of what’s ahead.
