✊ I know what it feels like to be on both sides of the courtroom as a landlord AND a tenant, but my story starts here.
For two years, I fought a retaliatory eviction against a slumlord who neglected his tenants and a lawyer who found loopholes instead of justice. Despite everything, I lost—not because I was wrong, but because the system was stacked against me.
That experience changed me. I realized that tenants deserve more than the bare minimum offered by government services or overstretched legal aid clinics. We need real advocates. We need people who have been in the fight themselves.
That’s why I started R.E.N.T. – Rental Education & Navigation for Tenants.
Because no renter should ever feel powerless.
Because housing is a human right.
Because I’ve been in your shoes, and now I’m ready to stand by your side.
