"Lori" received her B.A. in Psychology from Nazareth College of Rochester in Rochester, New York in 1992, her Masters in Public Health Administration from the State University of New York at Brockport in 199
7, and her Juris Doctorate from Barry University School of Law in 2005. While in law school Lori earned book awards in her Health Law, Civil Procedure, and Federal Tax Law courses. Lori also was the winner of the 1st Year Appellate Oralist competition in 2002, and was a member of the Moot Court team in 2004. Lori graduated from Barry University cm laude in the top 5% of her class. While in law school Lori worked as a law clerk at McCumber, Daniels, Buntz, Ferrer, P.A. in their Orlando office. During this clerkship Lori worked primarily on civil litigation defense and malpractice defense cases assisting lead attorneys with litigation preparation. After graduation, Lori worked for the Patten Law Firm as an associate attorney before opening her own practice in 2007. Lori has focused her practice on Family Law and Civil Litigation. Lori became a member of the Central Florida Collaborative Law Group in 2008 and is a strong advocate for utilizing the collaborative model in settling Family Law disputes. Lori is a member of the Florida Bar and belongs to the Central Florida Association of Women Lawyers, the Central Florida Collaborative Law Group, and the Central Florida Family Law Inns of Court. Additionally, Lori's interest in helping youth has led her to volunteer for the Orange County Teen Court program. Teen Court is a voluntary diversion program for first time juvenile criminal offenders. This program offers teens that have made poor decisions the opportunity to get back on the right track.
